Notice of Temporary Road Closure

County Road 41 (Centre Street) from Graham Street to Thomas Street Town of Greater Napanee

Please be advised that County Road 41 (Centre Street) in the Town of Greater Napanee will be temporarily CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC from Graham Street to Thomas Street.

This closure is scheduled to commence on Sunday, May 1st at approximately 7:00am and will be closed until approximately 5:00pm on Sunday, May 1st. If works are completed prior to this time the road will be re-opened accordingly.

Parking, Snow Deposit and Sump Discharge on County Roads and Bridges

The public is advised that County of Lennox and Addington By-Law No. 2697/98 regulates and requires the removal of items obstructing, encumbering, injuring or fouling County roads and bridges. The parking of vehicles, depositing of snow and discharging of sumps on County roads and bridges during winter months are examples of actions prohibited under this by-law. Section 181 of the Highway Traffic Act further prohibits the deposit of snow and ice on a roadway.

Notice of Bridge Work - Salmon River Bridge

June 2, 2021

National Structures Inc. has been contracted by the County of Lennox & Addington to rehabilitate the Salmon River Bridge located on County Road 41 in Roblin.  The work generally consists of replacement of concrete curbs and railings, bridge deck repairs and re-paving.

To facilitate the work the bridge will temporarily be restricted to a single lane for traffic controlled by portable traffic signals. Traffic delays should be expected.  Cyclists and Pedestrians will be able to cross the bridge while this work is ongoing.
