In partnership with Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington Public Health, the County of Frontenac and the City of Kingston, the County of Lennox & Addington has sent a letter to the Honorable Doug Ford regarding a regional approach to the lifting of emergency measures restrictions. December 12, 2019 – Lennox and Addington County Council wishes to announce that Marg Isbester, Mayor of the Town of Greater Napanee, was elected County Warden for the year 2020, at Council’s Inaugural Meeting held on December 11, 2019. This is Marg Isbester’s first time serving as the County Warden.
Warden Isbester began her municipal service as a Councillor in Greater Napanee in 2010. She was elected Deputy Mayor in 2014 and subsequently elected as Mayor in 2018.
The County of Lennox & Addington officially opened their new Stone Mills Ambulance Base located at 4261 County Road 4, Centreville on Wednesday, November 13th. The event included an official ribbon cutting and tours of the facility, which began operating on June 19, 2019.
Lennox and Addington County is accepting applications from residents that are interested in being considered for appointment to the Economic Development Coalition. The Coalition provides advice for business promotion and matters related to economic development.

The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee is dedicated to identifying barriers and improving accessibility and opportunities for people with disabilities. Committee members are appointed for a two-year term. County Council will appoint members to fill the following vacancy:
July 5, 2019 – For the second year in a row, staff at the County of Lennox and Addington held a clothing drive in support of Dress for Success Kingston. Several boxes of new and gently used clothing, shoes, purses and jewelry were donated which will be suitable for women attending interviews or work.
The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
