Topical non-fiction for issue-oriented readers

If you are a reader caught up in all of the hot topics and big social issues of the day, why not delve a little bit deeper than a news article? There are so many timely non-fiction titles available for you to dig into in order to gain a better grasp of a particular subject or perspective. The following are a few examples of non-fic books that I recently read and you may find interesting too.

Normally, I have one ear on the radio, the other on the circus that is my house, but the change guru got my full attention when describing the usefulness of setting goals over stating New Year’s resolutions. As soon as you set an end point plus an evaluation measure, it’s a goal not an aimlessly thrown out resolution floating in the ether.

Marg Isbester elected Lennox and Addington County Warden for 2020

December 12, 2019 – Lennox and Addington County Council wishes to announce that Marg Isbester, Mayor of the Town of Greater Napanee, was elected County Warden for the year 2020, at Council’s Inaugural Meeting held on December 11, 2019. This is Marg Isbester’s first time serving as the County Warden.

Warden Isbester began her municipal service as a Councillor in Greater Napanee in 2010.  She was elected Deputy Mayor in 2014 and subsequently elected as Mayor in 2018.
