UPDATE: March 20, 2020

Last night Lennox and Addington County Council held a special meeting to consider urgent items during COVID-19. At a very unique meeting, the County of Lennox and Addington took the appropriate steps to ensure that social distancing was maintained. Just hours prior to the meeting, the Province passed a bill that allows municipal Councils to meet electronically during times of emergency. In order for this to occur locally, the provincial legislation also requires that a by-law be passed which County Council did at that time.
