Our Ordinary, Extraordinary Lives is an exhibit at the Museum of Lennox & Addington that speaks to this message through vibrant photography, commentary, and art. Our families today may look different from families 150 years ago, but this fact transcends time - Our Ordinary, is the Extraordinary.

Beauchesne/Matson Family

"Chris, Josh, and their daughter Olivia live on a hobby farm in L&A, and their love of horses is obvious. Olivia has a little pony all her own, and she loves to ride it with her daddies by her side. She also loves to pick up the little chickens when she can catch them, or find flowers in the fields. We lucked out with a gorgeous October day - it was sunny and warm, and just the perfect weather to do some horseback riding (without a saddle for Chris!).I was really excited to see how easily Olivia took to her pony. She held the reins as if she’s been horseback riding for decades! She had no fear of the bigger horses, either. Growing up in this kind of environment seems like absolute magic for a little girl. She had a smile pretty much the entire time! I’m very happy I had a chance to spend a little time with this family, and capture a few of their “ordinary” moments which for most of us are actually quite extraordinary."
