Tuesday Night at the Museum in Napanee kicks off its fall schedule with a telling of the region’s tourism past.  On September 18th at 7pm, you're invited to an interesting evening of local history re-told at the first fall edition of Tuesday Night at the Museum in Napanee.

Local resident and historical researcher Jane Lovell will explore the transformation of Camp Le Nid from an exclusive men-only rustic camp to a family-friendly summer vacation spot in an idyllic setting on the Bay of Quinte near Adolphustown. Visitors to the camp were indeed by invitation only, and included many well-known or influential citizens of Napanee and cities elsewhere in Canada, the US, and beyond. The presentation will include images from the extensive collection of photographs residing in the Lennox & Addington Museum & Archives. Other photos, currently in private hands, will also illustrate life at the camp from its inception in 1886 to the last camp reunion in 1946.

Admission is $3 each and tickets are available at the door. For more information visit www.CountyMuseum.ca or call 613-354-3027.
