Each year as the business of December approaches I shift my reading to light, cozy, predictable and delightful Christmas stories. I love that in just a few hours (not unlike a Hallmark movie) you can enjoy a little brain candy and escape from the hustle and bustle. Below are a few Christmas cozies new to our collection this year that I have enjoyed so far:

Let It Snow by Nancy Thayer gives the reader a glimpse into life on Nantucket in winter. Shop owner Christina prepares to fight her Scrooge of a landlord and ends up falling in love with a lovely little girl and her Uncle who just happens to be the son of Oscar Bittlesman (Scrooge).

Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory readers take a trip to England with Vivian where she meets the Queen's aide Malcolm. A mistletoe kiss makes both Malcolm and Vivian start to question whether a Christmas affair will end or will the New Year mean new beginnings for both?

The Perfect Love Song by Patti Callahan Henry is filled with the magic of Christmas music. Jimmy and Charlotte pen the perfect Christmas love song. But is the rise to fame worth missing out on the love of family and true love?

Noel Street by Richard Paul Evans immerses the reader in the town of Garland, Utah and the lives of Elle and Emmerson. The past and the present intertwine as Elle and Emmerson struggle through their pasts in order to heal their hearts and move forward in love.
