Location:            Nursing Services – The John M. Parrott Centre

Supervisor:        Manager, Nursing Services

Hours of Work:  Days, evenings, nights & weekends 

Salary Range:    $35.01 to $50.11 per hour (as per the ONA Collective Agreement)

Closing Date:     July 31, 2024

The John M. Parrott Centre is a fully accredited state-of-the-art, 168 bed long term care home, owned and operated by the County of Lennox and Addington, in the Town of Greater Napanee. The John M. Parrott Centre offers free parking, safe work environment and upgraded technology. We are currently seeking highly motivated and energetic Registered Nurses to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current CPR/First Aid
  • Experience in long-term care preferred
  • Must be willing to work within the full scope of practice of a Registered Nurse (IV, CADD pumps, wound care, medication administration)
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively within the team
  • Demonstrated commitment to attendance
  • Satisfactory attendance record, subject to the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code
