CARF Accreditation
The John M. Parrott Centre has achieved CARF Accreditation for its long-term care home. The accreditation is for a period of three years. CARF is a ministry-approved accreditor. Surveyors conducted the survey on November 17 & 18, 2025. The three-year accreditation decision represents the highest level of CARF accreditation that can be given to an organization.

CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is an independent, non-profit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF International, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
The John M. Parrott Centre has a long-standing history of accreditation and chose CARF because its standards are non-prescriptive, easily understood and practical, with consideration that there are many ways to conform.
