Overview

Emergency and Paramedic Services help residents and visitors in need of emergency medical services. Land Ambulance services are especially important to ensure rural residents receive quality emergency care while in transport to a medical facility.

Ensuring Quality Care in Lennox & Addington

Our paramedics are graduates of community colleges and are certified by the province to be qualified paramedics.

They are also certified by the Base Hospital Program’s Medical Director who oversees delegated medical acts performed by paramedics.

Paramedics receive between 16-24 additional training hours per year, provided by the County.

Napanee Base (0) located in Greater Napanee with 2 Ambulances

1 Ambulance staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
1 Ambulance staffed 12 hours per day, 7 days per week (0700 – 1900 hours)

Northbrook Base (01) located in Northbrook with 1 Ambulance

1 Ambulance staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week

Denbigh Base (02) located in Denbigh with 1 Ambulance

1 Ambulance staffed 12 hours per day, 7 days per week (0700 – 1900 hours)

Loyalist Base (04) located in Amherstview with 1 Ambulance

1 Ambulance staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week

Stone Mills Base (05) located in Stone Mills with 1 Ambulance

1 Ambulance staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
