Musical Instrument Lending Library Opens in Bath

As of this month, patrons of the County of Lennox & Addington Libraries can borrow musical instruments with their library card. The Bath Branch of the library is now home to a variety of guitars, drums, electric and acoustic instruments, wind instruments, and more. We expect that this collection will grow and evolve over time.

2020 Tourism Activation Program Now Accepting Applications

Lennox & Addington County is home to many unique tourism products as well as a variety of top-notch events that are enjoyed by both residents and visitors alike. From now until February 28th, the Lennox & Addington County Economic Development Office is accepting applications for the Tourism Activation Program. The goal of the funding is to create additional unique experiences that will further increase visitation to L&A.

On CBC radio last week they interviewed a guest, a specialist in career shifts and big life changes. Normally, I have one ear on the radio, the other on the circus that is my house, but the change guru got my full attention when describing the usefulness of setting goals over stating New Year’s resolutions. As soon as you set an end point plus an evaluation measure, it’s a goal not an aimlessly thrown out resolution floating in the ether.
