TD Summer Reading Club 2018

TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada.  It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories. It’s designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

What's new in mystery and suspense

All too often I end up disappointing with mysteries/thrillers/psychological suspense because you can see the twist(s) from a mile away. Well, The Perfect Mother blindsided me! It’s about a group of first time mothers living in Brooklyn who regularly gather for baby advice and peer support.

What I'll be reading this summer

Now that summer is clearly upon us and the weather is warming up, it is once again time to make reading an outside activity. In my opinion, there isn't anything more relaxing...assuming the mosquitos are in check!  Luckily, there are all kinds of great new and forthcoming releases to choose from. Here are a few books that are on my radar for summer reading.
