Busy summer season in store at the Macpherson House

The Allan Macpherson House & Park, located at 180 Elizabeth Street in Napanee, opened for another busy summer season on June 27th. The House, built in 1826, recently received a new cedar shingle roof and looks as grand as it ever has, standing proudly along the banks of the Napanee River. It will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1 – 5 pm.

Stargazing evenings return to the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area! Witness the 'Early Summer Sky' on June 23rd & 24th at 10pm (weather permitting).

Dark sky enthusiast, Joe Gilker will be on hand to point out various constellations and let you take a peek through his telescope. Jupiter, Saturn, the Hercules Cluster and the Beehive Cluster will be visible. The Milky Way will be making its way across the sky.
