Musical Instrument Lending Library Opens in Bath

As of this month, patrons of the County of Lennox & Addington Libraries can borrow musical instruments with their library card. The Bath Branch of the library is now home to a variety of guitars, drums, electric and acoustic instruments, wind instruments, and more. We expect that this collection will grow and evolve over time.

Maker Club is now S.T.E.A.M Quest!

Formerly known as Maker Club, S.T.E.A.M Quest is a fun and interactive weekly program for kids and families. Kids will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts through a variety of challenges and activies designed to turn kids from consumers to creators.

I love that in just a few hours (not unlike a Hallmark movie) you can enjoy a little brain candy and escape from the hustle and bustle.
