A Visit to the Museum and Archives

April showers make for the perfect days to visit the Lennox and Addington County Museum and Archives. During a recent visit to the museum, I was able to step back in time and view the area from a different perspective through the artwork of long time Amherst Island resident Shirley Miller, in the exhibit titled “Revisiting Special Moments: A Retrospective, Reflecting the life on Amherst Island, Friends and Family,” on display until April 6th.

Plans Underway for Mountain Biking Trails in the L&A County Forest

Big changes are coming soon to one of Lennox & Addington's County Forest properties. This spring, a series of mountain biking trails will be developed within the forest in the quiet hamlet of Flinton in Addington Highlands.

The 6th Annual Discover L&A County MEGA Geocaching Event is on August 18, 2018 at the L&A County Museum & Archives in Napanee. Thanks to everyone that logged a will-attend so far. Geocaching International Film Festival screening returns to L&A County Museum

You're invited to attend a special screening of the 2017 Geocaching International Film Festival finalists at the Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee.

It's your chance to enjoy the entire reel of 17 finalist films from the 2017 Geocaching International Film Festival. The event is on Saturday, November 4th from 2:00 - 4:30 pm. The video reel is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and showtime will be at 2:30pm.
