As of 2:00pm on  January 18, 2022, the declaration of a Significant Weather Event is still in place for Lennox and Addington County.  The winter storm warning has ended, but we are expecting an additional snow accumulation of 3-7cm over the next 24 hours.

Crews continue to maintain roads in an effort to keep all roads clear and passable.  Road conditions within the County vary from fair to poor at times. Motorists are encouraged to continue to drive with caution.

Sidewalks which are normally maintained may be snow and ice covered. Pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of these conditions while walking.

Please refrain from on street parking as much as possible to allow municipal crews to remove the snow.

Please be patient and cautious as snow removal operations will be ongoing over the next several days.
