Experience the spirit of the season at Lennox & Addington County's 5th annual ‘Christmas Tree’ event on Tuesday, December 11th from 6 - 8 pm. This festive occasion takes place at the County Museum and Archives, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee.

“Winter Wonderland” is this year’s theme. Trees will be on display decorated by community groups who have challenged each other to top their creativity with this year’s theme.  In addition, there will be live music by Hannah Barstow, light refreshments, Father Christmas will be on hand for the festivities and reindeer from Sherwood Reindeer Farm will be outside in the court yard.

For the month of December a “Giving Tree” will be set up at the Museum & Archives. The purpose of this tree is to give back to our own community with winter warmth for the cold months ahead. You're invited to place new hats, mitts, scarves or socks on the tree. All of the items will be donated to the “Christmas Hamper Program” and the “Project Warm Toes” program run by the Napanee Salvation Army. Donations can be placed on the Giving Tree at the Museum between December 1st and January 2nd.

Admission to 'A Christmas Tree’ Event is free. For more information, please visit www.CountyMuseum.ca or call 613-354-3027.
