Art, Language, Music & Culture Celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day and The International Year of Indigenous Language

In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day and 2019 being The International Year of Indigenous Languages, join us on June 22nd for a day celebrating Indigenous Languages and Culture. A children’s Indigenous art activity will start the day at 10:00am followed by a talk hosted by Joe Brown on the reclamation of Mohawk Language at 11:00am.

Our Feathered Friends: Canadian Museum of Nature Travelling Exhibition

Watch The Museum take flight this summer! Birds are found almost everywhere: from the Arctic to the Antarctic, in jungles and cities, from oceans to deserts. They range in size from the Ostrich to the tiny Bee Hummingbird. Many are brightly coloured, but others are muted or dull. Most can fly, but some cannot. Some travel thousands of kilometres as they migrate north and south.
