Bundle up and enjoy the cold weather. There's lots to do this winter in Lennox & Addington County. Take a look at some of the fun activities that are available when the snow flies.

We're snowmobile central! You don’t have to live here to access over 200 km of as part one of the premier snowmobiling networks in Ontario. Get your OFSC permit (required for all OFSC trails) then ride the trails across L&A County from Napanee to Arden; Perth Road Village to Amherstview; and up north through some amazing trails in Addington Highlands.

The Lennox and Addington Ridge Runners snowmobile club is a member of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC). Based in Yarker, the Ridge Runners have been looking after the local snowmobile trails for citizens and visitors since 1969.

Looking for some physical activity? It's fun to slap on some skis or snowshoes - or event just a pair of winter boots - and get outdoors for a beautiful snowy walk. Conservation areas and park lands are great places go out and carve your own trail. The Owl Woods on Amherst Island is another great place to take a winter stroll.

Ice fishing is big here in Lennox & Addington County. Whether it's Hay Bay, Beaver Lake or Skootamatta, there are plenty of great places to drill a hole and drop a line. Remember to check ice conditions first!

People travel from urban areas all year long to witness the unimpeded beauty of the night sky. The parking lot at the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area is plowed and ready for stargazers.

Winter temperatures not really your thing? No worries. There's lots going on indoors in our communities to keep you busy. The County of L&A Libraries host many events year round. The L&A County Museum & Archives is the  perfect place for history buffs to spend a cold winter day. They also host regular events throughout the season.
