Overview
The County of Lennox & Addington has established a tariff of fees for various land use planning services, including processing subdivision or condominium applications and amending the County Official Plan, with fees ranging from $2,000 to $4,000. Additionally, resources and reference materials are provided to assist citizens in understanding land use planning policies and development application processes in Ontario.

Planning Notices & Current Planning Applications
Below is a compiled list of all of the current planning applications awaiting a public meeting or a council decision. To view the full public meeting notice, review more information about the proposed application, and register for the public meeting, please visit County of Lennox and Addington Civic Web.
Notices generally request that comments be received within a 30-day time period.
Additional information can be obtained through the planning department during regular business hours from Monday to Friday.

Notice of Public Meetings
The County of Lennox & Addington is in the process of preparing an update to the Official Plan to ensure that it is consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement (2024). The result of the Official Plan update has been the preparation of a draft Official Plan Amendment that makes several text and map changes to the Official Plan. In accordance with the statutory requirements of Section 17 and 26 of the Planning Act, below is a Notice of Open House and Notice of Public Meeting.
NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSE
An Open House required under the Planning Act is to be held to review the draft policies and mapping and to obtain feedback from members of the public. The Open House will start with a brief presentation providing an overview of the Official Plan Amendment followed by a question and answer period. Participants will then be invited to discuss issues with staff and the consultants. The Open House details are below:
Date: October 8, 2025 Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Location: Museum of Lennox & Addington County, 97 Thomas Street East, Napanee, ON, K7R 4B9
Details: There will be a presentation starting at 7:00 pm. Please note that the County is also undergoing a Lear Study which will also result in a future Official Plan Amendment once the study is completed. This Open House and Public Meeting does not consider any updates to prime agricultural areas. A separate open house and public meeting will be held later to discuss these matters.

Location: Council Chambers, 97 Thomas Street East, Napanee, ON, K7R 4B9
Information: The same presentation from the Open House will be presented to County Council Members. If you wish to make comments during the public meeting, please register by calling the Clerk’s Office at 613-354-4883 extension 3368 or by email to tmckenzie@lennox-addington.on.ca by October 13th 2025.
