Canada’s only outdoor Irish cultural festival done through the Irish language is Oireachtas Gaeilge Cheanada and is set for June 29th in Tamworth/Erinsville.  Enjoy a day filled with competitions in traditional Irish music, singing, dance, and story telling in Gaelic. Wilton Tractor Parade & Potluck Picnic

Wilton

Celebrate Canada, celebrate Country and celebrate Community in the hamlet of Wilton with the second annual Bruce Burt Memorial Tractor Parade. Bruce Burt was a life-long resident who drove his beloved Massey Ferguson well into his 90s. He was born in Wilton in 1916 and died here in 2010.

At about 12:30pm or so, the parade will begin traveling west along Simmons Road past Wilton Pottery, the Wilton Cheese Factory, over the creek to Wilton Tack and then loop back to the Playground at 235 Simmons Road where the tractors will park and be on display. Viewers can vote for their favourites and a people's choice trophy will be awarded. Last year's winner was Tim De Rose of Wilton Pottery.

After the parade, a potluck lunch will take place outdoors at the Playground at about 1:00pm. The Wilton Community Association will provide free Canada Day birthday cake. Please bring one food item per family to share along with your own dishes, cutlery, drinks, lawn chairs or blanket.

For visitors not camping at the park, vehicle entry fees are being covered by the Friends of Bon Echo Park  for the evening program (beginning 1/2 hour before the show). Discover L&A County Geocaching Event 2013

Southview Public School, 18 Golf Course Lane, Napanee

In 2011, the County of Lennox & Addington joined forces with the Lennox & Addington Geocachers to host a fantastic event in Lennox & Addington County. After two successful events, we're hoping that 2013 will make us a MEGA EVENT. A Mega-Event is similar to an Event Cache, only it is much larger.  In order to qualify as a Mega-Event, it must have been attended by 500+ people. So Cachers, it is up to you to help spread the word, and invite everyone you know.  Cachers or not. More Event Details to Follow...
